October 2020 Member Spotlight
Sarah Crispin-Thomas State Farm Agent
Thank you for choosing Sarah Crispin-Thomas State Farm for the October Chamber Member Spotlight! I am a second generation State Farm agent. State Farm has been part of my life since I was a little girl when my dad opened his agency in 1984. I was taught at an early age that customers are neighbors and you have to know them in order to properly insure them. I took this to heart when I opened my own agency in 2013. My team and I build relationships with our customers. We help them understand their coverage options and develop a plan to protect their family and everything they work hard for. We offer services related to car insurance, home and renters insurance, life insurance, small business insurance and financial services.
I have two full-time team members, Debbie Rullo and Jessica Stremp. Debbie has been with my agency since 2016 and Jessica joined the team in 2019. Being active members of the community is very important to us. We all have children in local school districts and feel it is important to give back to the communities that provide so many wonderful educational, art/theatre and athletic programs to its community members. We are proud members of the Greater-Latrobe Laurel Valley (GLLV) Chamber, and have been for seven years! The Chamber has shown over the years their commitment to serve and support local business. After all, that is what good neighbors do! We sponsor many Chamber events including the Great American Banana Split Festival, the Chamber Golf Outing and Annual Dinner; much of the funds raised from these events go right back into our local school districts and community organizations.
Outside of the office, I am President of Derry Area Revitalization Corporation (DARCee) and serve as an Elder at the Latrobe United Presbyterian Church. My husband, Kurt, works for the Greater Latrobe School District. My oldest son, Kole, is currently serving in the United States Navy and my two younger children, Kathryn and Cameron attend Derry Area School District.
