SAINT VINCENT COLLEGE SBDC HOSTS ‘QUICKBOOKS® BASIC’ AND ‘QUICKBOOKS® ADVANCED’ IN FAYETTE COUNTY
LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will be offering educational seminars on the accounting software package QuickBooks® at Fay-Penn Economic Development Council, 1040 Eberly Way, Suite 200, Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania.
QuickBooks® Basic seminar will be held on Friday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This program is designed for individuals and businesses that have recently purchased the accounting system, QuickBooks®, or for those who currently use QuickBooks® and would like to become more efficient with the software. Topics include company file set-up and preferences, sales process, managing expenses, bank reconciliation, reports and graphs, customer transactions and customizing. The seminar will also provide resource material and information that will broaden QuickBooks® skills and answer specific questions.
QuickBooks® Advanced will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This program is intended for individuals who are familiar with QuickBooks® but would like to become more proficient in its various capabilities. Topics include inventory, time and billing, adjustments and year-end procedures, sales tax payable, payroll set-up and payroll processing.
These in-depth seminars are presented by Dennis Piper and Associates, a firm that specializes in working closely with small- to mid-size companies to develop, train and enhance accounting processes through this software.
Both programs are being co-sponsored by the Fay-Penn Economic Development Council. The fee for each program is $95, and lunch is included in the fee.
