Join us for a Virtual Pride Celebration Week, July 27 – July 31! Each day we will highlight the talents of LGBTQIAP+ artists, performers, with fun and creative programs including a Drag Bingo, performance by dance-pop artist Bryce Bowyn, Q&A with local LGBTQIAP+ organizations, Drag Queen Art Critiques, and much more!
Virtual Pride Celebration Week is presented in partnership with PFLAG Greensburg, The Westmoreland LGBTQ Interfaith Network, and the Keystone Pride and Equality Coalition. Sponsored by First Energy Foundation.
All events are free and will be streamed on The Westmoreland’s Facebook.

Drag performance is a powerful art form that has became increasingly accepted, and now celebrated, thanks to the activism of those in the LGBTQIAP+ community. There is no substitute for the power of a live drag performance, but until you can attend one in person, tune into the Museum’s Facebook, Tuesday, July 28, and experience a number of drag queen performances.
- Screening of STONEWALL, Paving the Way to Gay Pride

Every year in June, the Gay Pride parade is a wild party. It hasn’t always been like this. While 2020 marks its 50th anniversary, it was originally the first time gays and lesbians walked the streets in New York, claiming publicly to be out, and this procession was intended to commemorate the Stonewall riots that had occurred a year earlier.
