• Local car enthusiasts invited to exhibit their vehicles at the Pitt-Greensburg Car Cruise

    GREENSBURG, PA –The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg invites regional car enthusiasts to participate in its annual Car Cruise to be held Saturday, October 5, as part of Blue & Gold Week Celebration 2019.
    The Cruise is open to all makes and models of vehicles, including classics, motorcycles, hot rods, trucks, and more. A limited quantity of dash plaques will be guaranteed for vehicles registered by September 25. At the Car Cruise, exhibitors can take part in a 50/50 raffle, give-aways, and compete for fan favorite awards. They also can enjoy music and visit our Blue & Gold Festival.
    Exhibitors can register online at https://www.greensburg.pitt.edu/blue-and-gold/car-cruise or on campus the day of the event. A $5 registration fee is required.     Proceeds from the Pitt-Greensburg Car Cruise will benefit Pitt-Greensburg Veterans Services and its programs, which include bringing speakers, films, and other resources to campus that benefit students who are veterans. These events are also usually open to veterans living in the greater Greensburg community and the general public. Proceeds from the Car Cruise also benefit the Pitt-Greensburg Alumni Association (PGAA) and Pitt-Greensburg’s Technology for the Future Fund.
