The mission of the Greater Latrobe-Laurel Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce is Connecting Business, Community & Education.
We serve as an advocate for area businesses and industries; promote a vibrant economic climate in which businesses can prosper; foster an unsurpassed quality of life for the benefit of all our neighbors; encourage the attraction of new jobs, and the smart growth of our communities; and sustain informed, enlightened, and energetic leadership to address our future needs.
All activities of the Chamber are undertaken with the intent to serve and enhance our local business community. The end result of every event, initiative and partnership is to improve some aspect of local business. An “active” business community attracts residents and visitors. Residents and visitors spend money with local merchants. Money spent locally increases business and tax revenues. Increased business and tax revenues allow a community to thrive and grow. That is our vision.
The Chamber will continue to pursue our goal of linking our great neighborhoods to drive commerce and improve small business, speak with one influential voice and continue our unique tradition of supporting our local schools with impacting programs that provide direction and career pathways for our kids. The Chamber’s unique educational programs work in the Greater Latrobe, Derry Area School Districts and the Eastern Westmoreland Career and Technology Center.
The Chamber represents, connects and promotes our membership in the City of Latrobe, Unity and Derry Townships, the boroughs of Youngstown, Derry, New Alexandria & Blairsville and in the Ligonier Valley.
Contributions to the GLLV Chamber are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Contributions may be deductible as a business expense.
