Westmoreland Jazz Society Concert featuring The Jessica Lee Jazz Trio

Jessica Lee is a professional Jazz & Blues vocalist, songwriter (ASCAP), and recording artist with four solo albums (Bluebird Fly, From a Silent Heart, Silver Days, Charcoal Nights, and Rhythms of Anyway) available internationally, and with songs from these CDs currently showcased by EQ Music record label on seven international vocal albums with other artists, such as Norah Jones and Amy London, including on the When Blues Meets Jazz and the Greatest Audiophile Voices CD series. Jessica performs at jazz & blues clubs, festivals, major charitable events, universities and theaters throughout the country, and has produced and performed shows from jazz duos, to combo performances, to Big Band and symphony orchestra performances. Her 4th solo album, Rhythms of Anyway, includes original songs as well as classics, featuring many legendary Pittsburgh Jazz musicians, such as Jazz drumming legend Roger Humphries and guitarist Mark Strickland, and fuses elements of rhythm & blues with classic jazz & blues stylings. As an educator and artist/social entrepreneur, Jessica has taught at universities and schools across the country, and has co-founded the nonprofit “America’s Arts & Music Crossroads Center” which has provided creativity and career programs for underprivileged youth in under-served communities since 2008. As a graduate of Duke University, where she studied both Jazz piano and voice, and the Duke University School of Law where she studied entertainment and business law, she is an advocate of artist entrepreneurship and arts education for all.
